Stevenage Junior parkrun is a fun, free community event run by volunteers for children aged 4-14. It allows children, along with parents, supporters, and volunteers, to enjoy being outdoors, meet friends old and new, participate in any way they choose, and be part of the parkrun community.
Everyone of any age or background can participate, including through volunteering. No prior experience in parkrun or volunteering is necessary, nor do you need to be a runner, parent, or have previous experience. Roles include marshalling or handing out finish tokens, and volunteers can apply their skills or learn new ones. All roles are straightforward, with experienced volunteers available to assist and answer questions.
