About Royston & District Community Transport
What is the Community Transport Scheme? Royston & District Community Transport offers door-to-door transport 7 days a week for people living in Royston, the surrounding villages of North & East Hertfordshire, South Cambridgeshire, and Northwest Essex. It is for people who are unable to use conventional public transport for reasons of age, frailty, impaired mobility or the lack of public transport, and do not have the use of a car. Volunteer drivers provide transport using their own cars and the scheme also operates wheelchair-accessible minibuses and Multi-Purpose Vehicles.
