You will be the first friendly face that will greet humans and animal patients at our hospital, be outgoing and organized.

Role Description

  • Greet all visitors, act as the first contact point and represent Pumpkin’s.
  • Ensure all necessary patient records are completed upon arrival.
  • Responsible for admission record keeping of all wildlife patients.
  • Maintain the reception office and manage the comms system.
  • Answer hospital phone calls, emails and phone messages.
  • Sort mail, place orders for the centre.
  • Liaise with animal team and ensure smooth handover at the end of your shift.
  • Receptionists who are interested in expanding their roles may be able to do so with responsibilities ranging from finance to HR or stock management.
