Friendly and reliable volunteer driver to support an adult with a learning disability to attend rugby matches.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect our wheelchair-accessible vehicle from Harpenden
- Drive the vehicle to St Albans to collect our Rugby fan
- Travel together to a rugby match at Old Albanian RFC and enjoy the experience alongside them
- Provide friendly companionship and support during the match
- Safely return the adult to their home in St Albans after the event
- Return the wheelchair-accessible vehicle to Harpenden
This is a rewarding befriending role combined with driving responsibilities.
Your qualities and characteristics:
- Aged 21-70 years
- Hold a clean, full and valid UK driving Licence
- Friendly, caring, approachable and respectful
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Supportive attitude and willingness to engage socially
Support Provided:
