Role details – As a Family Centre Meet and Greet Assistant you will be the first point of contact for families at our centres, providing information about our service and encouraging families to sign up.
- Role based in Family Centres across Hertsmere
- 2-3 hours per week
- Family Centres include; PB1, The Reddings & Furzefield.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome families to the Family Centre in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about the service to families which is appropriate to the age(s) and needs of their child(ren).
- Support the preparation of publicity materials and information displays.
- Signpost visitors to the appropriate staff member for further support.
- Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety policies at all times.
Skills and experience:
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Respectful of confidentiality and sensitive information.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice.
Training and support:
- A full induction to the service and specific site will be provided.
- Requirement to undertake One YMCA online training courses.
- To understand and implement One YMCA's policies.
- Ongoing support and regular 1:1 meetings.
- Access to organisational events throughout the year including Socials, Conferences and Training opportunities.
