Volunteer Role: Activity Co-ordinator – Family Activity Events
Location: Hertfordshire

Role Purpose
The Activity Co-ordinator will help plan, organise, and deliver engaging family activity sessions designed to be inclusive of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and co-ordinate family activity events in collaboration with the NeuroRelate team
- Ensure activities are accessible and inclusive for children and families with SEND
- Support families during sessions, creating a safe, welcoming environment
- Assist with event setup, risk assessments, and feedback collection
- Communicate effectively with volunteers, families, and staff to ensure smooth delivery
Person Specification
- Training or experience in SEND (essential or working towards)
- Experience working in a family, educational, or community setting
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
- Willing to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by NeuroRelate)
