We host visits to the BuzzWorks Discovery Centre off Old Hale Way, Hitchin, where you can enjoy the bee-friendly garden, bee exhibition and watch the bees at work. We also support local beekeepers and provide training courses for new and improving beekeepers at our larger Honeyworks Beekeeping Centre, off Burford Way, Hitchin.

Volunteer responsibilities:
- Routine weeding and keeping pathways clear
- Maintaining outbuildings and fencing (painting, repairing)
- Growing pollinator-friendly plants for sale
- Taking on responsibility for a dedicated bed of pollinator-friendly plants
- Repairing gates and leaking plumbing
Volunteers are typically on site on Wednesdays but can also work flexibly. Regular socials and opportunities to learn about bees and beekeeping.
