Cheshunt junior parkrun takes place every Sunday at 9am with volunteers arriving by 8.30am in order to be briefed and meet the team. Everyone of any age or background can come and participate through volunteering; you don't need any experience of parkrun or volunteering, you certainly don’t need to be a runner or a parent or have tried anything like this before.

There are different roles to try, such as marshalling or handing out finish tokens. All the roles are straightforward and there are always other volunteers on hand to show you the ropes and answer any questions. Volunteering at junior parkrun provides a real impactful benefit for the children (and their grown ups) coming to parkrun and the wider community, and a great way to start your Sunday morning. It is rewarding and fun too!
