The 1st Cheshunt Scout Group is recognized as the oldest scout group in the district, having been established over a century ago. It has a rich history of engaging and supporting young people in their personal development. The group operates several sections, including Beavers (ages 5¾ to 8), Cubs (ages 8 to 10½), and Scouts (ages 10½ to 14½).
