Location: Aberdeen. Dee View Care Home is a purpose-built, 43-bed specialist care home offering expert neurorehabilitation and long-term care for adults with complex needs. This is a full-time role with a contract of 37.5 hours per week, dayshift, with a salary range of £34,278 to £38,638 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Carry out person-centred assessments.
- Implement evidence-based treatment programmes.
- Evaluate outcomes as part of the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Manage your own caseload.
- Provide supervision to junior colleagues.
- Contribute to the smooth and effective delivery of the occupational therapy service.
- Promote choice, dignity, and independence for each resident.
- Help residents achieve meaningful goals through therapeutic engagement and environmental adaptation.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Sound clinical reasoning with a strong understanding of OT assessments and interventions.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Previous experience in a neuro or complex care setting is desirable but not essential.
