Purpose of your role:

β€’ Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, becoming a trusted partner in their success
β€’ Drive profitable growth by expanding existing business and identifying strategic opportunities to unlock new revenue streams.
β€’ Champion customer satisfaction, ensuring needs are not only met but exceeded through proactive service and tailored solutions.

Key Objectives:

β€’ Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts with both major national retailers and their suppliers.
β€’ Provide recommendations for continuous process improvement in response to changing customer requirements.
β€’ Monitor and deliver financial KPI\’s including sales and profitability targets
β€’ Build deep client relationships through collaboration and trust
β€’ Lead on planning, briefing, and reporting for client activity

Responsibilities of the role:

β€’ Craft and deliver insight-led strategies that resonate with customer needs and drive value.
β€’ Submit accurate, timely quotations and follow through proactively to convert opportunities into activity.
β€’ Ensure full visibility and financial accountability by tracking customer briefs from booking to invoicing using established processes.
β€’ Spot opportunities for operational improvement and actively support the implementation of more efficient ways of working.
β€’ Seek, welcome, and act on feedback to continuously improve both individual and team performance.
β€’ Provide regular reports on status of all accounts, including performance overview, upcoming workloads/projects, actions and support requirements, other opportunities
β€’ Adhere to all systems, procedures and methods in line with the Dee Set operating standards

Skills/Experience Required:

β€’ Exceptional communicator with proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
β€’ Active listener who is highly customer-focused and thrives in a consultative, collaborative account management environment
β€’ Skilled at building trust and lasting relationships, with a natural ability to connect and engage with clients at all levels.
β€’ Proactive and driven, with a strong β€œcan-do” attitude and the resilience to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
β€’ Commercially astute, with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to develop tailored, results-oriented solutions
β€’ Financially literate, confident managing budgets and delivering against performance and profitability targets.
β€’ Experience working with or within major retailers and/or a background in account management would be beneficial
β€’ Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills, with the confidence to present data, insights, and proposals to both internal and senior retail stakeholders.

What\’s On Offer:

  • Salary: Β£28,000 to Β£32,000 dependant on experience.
  • 37.5 Hours a week : Monday to Friday
  • Field Based role with the requirement of traveling to our Stoke-On-Trent Head Office and our Customers Offices in Harrogate on a weekly basis.
