This role is suitable for an enthusiastic teacher with experience or interest in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, who is dedicated to providing high-quality teaching and learning within a supportive and welcoming school community. We are looking for someone who is child-centred, reflective, and ready to make a positive contribution to our vibrant first school.
To teach pupils within year 1 - 4, with responsibility for teaching one year group. To carry out other such duties that are reasonably assigned by the Headteacher or line manager or within the National Teaching Standards.
Dedworth Green First School is on the western edge of Windsor and was built in 1952 to serve new housing being built in the area. We currently have around 170 children on roll and a staff team of 30 adults. Our main aim is to provide high quality teaching and learning and to improve the enjoyment and education of all the children in our care so that they can fulfil their potential and REACH for the stars.
Our friendly staff team is clearly committed to providing a secure and happy environment in which all children are able to thrive socially, emotionally and academically. This is built on the strong relationships fostered by all members of the school community. Our children are highly motivated, well behaved and truly delightful to teach!
