Job Purpose:

• Support regional colleagues in undertaking all electrical works efficiently and safely, with repairs as appropriate.
• Ensure all planned maintenance is carried out as scheduled.

Key Accountabilities:

• Maintain and operate all equipment and services in a safe condition to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
• Monitor regular inspection procedures (preventative maintenance program) of equipment and record inspection reports.
• Keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
• Have a working knowledge of statutory regulations and ensure awareness of all safety procedures.
• Undertake electrical repairs and installations as appropriate.
• Report any defects at the time of service visit.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.

About You:

• Ideally City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
• Some experience of electrical fire life safety works within the services sector.
• Strong customer care focus and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weights of up to 25kg.
• Full UK driving licence.
