Do you have the ability to build credible relations to influence decision-making at a senior level? You will have a strong strategic and commercial awareness, well developed communication and a growth mindset to be able to provide innovative solutions, whilst being able to work at pace. This HR Business Partner role reports to the Divisional Head of HR and will manage an HR Advisor and HR Administrator. This role holds a generalist HR remit including ER, succession, restructuring, harmonisation, TUPE, as well as other HR projects such as engagement and well-being. This HR Business Partner role is permanent and offers Hybrid Working, 2 days a week based at offices in either Stockport, Stoke-on-Trent or Northampton and requires travel. The HR Business Partner role offers Salary + Car allowance.
Key responsibilities for this HR Business Partner role include:
- Providing strategic and day-to-day leadership to drive the delivery of HR plans.
- Using experience, skills and knowledge of the HR profession to make an impact in key areas such as change management, employee engagement and talent analytics.
- Assisting in building strong talent pipelines.
- Supporting line managers across the business on organisational structure and design.
- Undertake periodic reviews with the Performance Director, their teams and Key Stakeholders about their designated sites, ensuring that important matters are discussed with clearly identified outcomes.
- Senior ER Casework - to provide professional and legislatively compliant advice on Human Resources issues, and support managers where appropriate on disciplinary, grievance, capability and harassment and discrimination cases using a problem-solving approach and ensuring risks are flagged to the Head of HR and Performance Director.
- Undertake the lead for employment tribunals for your services and liaise with ACAS on early conciliation.
- To undertake project work and policy development work as directed and guided by the Head of HR.
With your CIPD level 5 qualification and an up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, you will find this HR Business Partner opportunity challenging and varied as well as rewarding. Previous experience in an Adult care environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
