Dedicate Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with this prominent school in mid Kent. We are seeking a highly skilled interim Director of Finance to lead on the provision of credible financial reporting, contributing to the school's ten year plan.
Leading a team of nine staff, the Director of Finance will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and developing detailed cash flow projections aligned with the school’s 10-Year Strategic Financial Plan.
- Taking overall responsibility for the financial management and control of the school, including its trading subsidiaries, trusts, charities, and investment portfolios.
- Leading the coordination of the Annual Budget and periodic financial forecasts, incorporating robust financial modelling to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensuring full compliance with all relevant tax regulations and charity governance requirements.
- Overseeing the School’s investment strategy and performance in collaboration with external advisers.
The successful Director of Finance will be a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a proven track record in financial leadership, ideally within the education, charity, or not-for-profit sectors. You will bring strong analytical and modelling skills with excellent attention to detail. First class communication skills coupled with a natural ability to form positive working relationships is essential.
