Junior Software Tester

What you’ll achieve
As the Junior Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing healthcare software applications built in house, to ensure they are efficient, reliable, and meet the specific needs of healthcare providers and patients. You will make a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
You will
- Test Planning and Execution: Develop, document, and execute test cases, scripts, and plans to validate healthcare software functionality, usability, and performance.
- Manual Testing: Conduct manual testing on the Dedalus OneX application suite to identify defects, verify functionality, and assess usability.
- Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with customers, developers, and healthcare professionals to understand application requirements and ensure they are met in the software.
- Defect Reporting and Management: Identify, log, and track software bugs and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Compliance and Validation Testing: Ensure software meets regulatory requirements (e.g., WCAG2.2) and adheres to healthcare industry standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation on test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Create reports to communicate test results to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications
- The candidate must be a pro‑active self‑motivated team player and eager to continually develop themselves.
- Knowledge of Office 365.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify issues and ensure quality.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with development teams and healthcare professionals.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to identify issues and inconsistencies.
- Experience in agile or other software development methodologies.
