What you’ll achieve
As the Technical Architect, you will architect and deliver high quality solutions to customers, improve customer and patient outcomes, and contribute to our team of diverse and passionate professionals. Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be perceived as a thought leader in your field and play a crucial role in ensuring that different software components work together securely, efficiently and effectively to achieve business objectives.
You will:
- Provide technical coordination and leadership in the design and execution of installations/configurations for service validation efforts, pilot sites and new countries.
- Act as a point of contact, reference for regions in terms of ORBIS(U) architecture, principles and best practices including application, data, integration, technology, and security domains.
- Ensure architectures comply with established architecture governance processes, policies and standards used within Dedalus both at a global and regional level.
- Guide, mentor and support in the first deployments of a new country/region.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with business, clinical, operational, technical and support team members.
- Identify and resolve technical issues.
- Identify opportunities for improving, standardizing the delivery of the services.
- Review and provide input on product documentation.
- Report any product or documentation issues.
- Maintain close contact and share knowledge with the internal and external teams.
- Ensure that implementation and configuration cases are documented, and all processes and checklists are followed.
- Attend product-training, underlying technologies courses and maintain an expert working knowledge of targeted products and solutions.
- Transfer knowledge to other teams within the organization.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 10+ years’ experience in the ICT sector and an experience and successful cloud experience in a managed services environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- General network and hardware knowledge.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of operating systems like Windows 2016/2019 and Linux.
- You are familiar or have experience with one of these cloud platforms: AWS/Azure.
- You have experience with container concepts: Docker, Kubernetes/Openshift.
- Knowledge in at least one of these scripting tools: Bash, Powershell, Python.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong Leadership skills.
- Fluent in English.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience as an engineer/consultant supporting clients in a high tech or software environment (ideally within Healthcare IT).
- Knowledge in IaC tooling like: Terraform, Ansible.
- Knowledge in monitoring & logging tooling like: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK.
- Familiarity with security protocols and standards, such as OAuth, SAML and SSL/TSL, and their application in securing solutions.
- Experience with formal architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) and modelling languages (e.g. UML).
- Knowledge of hospital Workflows, IHE, HL7, FHIR and DICOM.
- Knowledge in database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB).
