Overview
Window Blind Fitter (with manufacturing duties). We are looking for a skilled and reliable Window Blind Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional installation of blinds in customer homes and commercial properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and excellent customer service. In addition to fitting duties, you will occasionally assist with manufacturing tasks in our workshop, supporting the production team to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Fit and install a wide range of window blinds (including Venetian, roller, vertical, and perfect fit blinds).
- Provide excellent customer service during home and site visits.
- Ensure all fittings are completed to a high standard, with attention to detail and safety.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
- Work flexibly to support colleagues in the workshop with blind manufacturing and assembly when required.
- Follow company health & safety policies at all times.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience fitting blinds, curtains, or similar products.
- Basic joinery skills.
- Confident in using power tools.
- Good practical/DIY skills with use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence required.
