The Role:
Join our Digital & Data team as a Solution Architect and lead the technical vision for EDI integration and digital transformation across our wholesale operating model in the EMEA region. You will design, describe, and manage innovative technological solutions, collaborating with global teams to shape the future of our architecture. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, solution architecture leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across IT, business teams, and external partners balancing long-term architectural vision with short-term tactical needs.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in understanding current landscape, propose transition architecture and future state architecture by designing and delivering scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions with a focus on:
- EDI implementation with a new service provider and our wholesale accounts
- API integrations with external vendors and systems
- Third-Party Logistics (3PL) future state integration design
- Large-scale programmes across the region and solution dependencies with global system architecture improvements
Your Impact:
- Design and deliver modern, scalable solutions to replace legacy systems and enable new digital capabilities
- Lead EDI implementation with new service providers and wholesale accounts
- Architect API integrations with external vendors and systems, ensuring robust governance and security
- Drive future-state integration design for Third-Party Logistics (3PL) and large-scale regional programs
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to align solution architecture with enterprise principles
- Guide solution design across multiple domains, ensuring compliance and best practices
- Provide technical oversight throughout project lifecycles, identifying risks and defining modernization roadmaps
- Ensure seamless systems integration, maintaining data integrity and security
- Champion innovation by identifying and promoting emerging technologies and practices
- Contribute to the development and execution of long-term IT and digital transformation strategies
Who You Are:
- Strong leadership skills, able to mentor teams and foster collaboration
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
We would Love to Hear from People with:
- Proven track record in delivering EDI solutions within global supply chain or logistics contexts
- Hands-on experience with API design, integration, and governance (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, API gateways, OAuth, etc.)
- Experience with 3PL warehouse implementations and integration with WMS and ERP systems
- Familiarity with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and iPaaS/middleware solutions (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica)
- Deep understanding of application architecture patterns, software development methodologies, and cloud-native development
- Knowledge of security best practices, including secure coding and vulnerability management
