Overview
Senior Tax Analyst – EMEA at Deckers Brands.
The Senior Tax Analyst (EMEA) supports tax compliance and payments for Deckers subsidiaries and operations across Europe.
This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners to deliver tax compliance, risk control, process optimization, and planning objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support statutory income tax compliance and reporting for EMEA subsidiaries.
- Prepare tax filing workpapers and manage tax return filings with external service providers.
- Review statutory tax reporting for completeness and accuracy, finalizing tax journal entries for audits.
- Maintain corporate tax payments tracker and documentation repository.
- Support the U. S. tax team with information for U. S. income tax return reporting.
- Monitor income tax developments across Europe, including OECD BEPS and Pillar Two initiatives.
- Prepare EMEA income tax provision workpapers for quarterly and annual reporting.
- Record provision-to-tax return true-ups and complete global quarterly reconciliations.
- Calculate periodic transfer pricing entries and support documentation preparation.
- Assist with tax controversy matters, including audit responses and queries from authorities.
- Manage and execute tax technology initiatives and process improvements using One Source and Alteryx.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced culture and changing priorities.
- Effective communicator with internal and external stakeholders.

- Professional qualifications such as ATT/CTA, ADIT, ACA, or ACCA (or country equivalent) preferred.
- Solid tax experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or both.
- Multi-national experience with knowledge of tax regimes in the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point, One Drive; experience with Essbase, Oracle, One Source Tax Provision is a plus.
