EMEA Senior Procurement Specialist

The Role
As the EMEA Senior Procurement Specialist, you will support the EMEA Procurement Manager in developing, executing, and managing sourcing initiatives for non-trade buying with a focus on the Retail Operations category. You will work closely with Global Procurement leadership on strategic procurement activities, including identifying cost optimization opportunities, competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and purchasing process compliance efforts. This role is based in London and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our procurement strategies and operations.
Your Impact
- Lead or provide project management support for planning, executing, and reporting competitive bidding, generating value in cost, quality, and service
- Support strategic planning for current and upcoming retail opportunities by developing an EMEA Procurement Retail Playbook and collaborating with internal partners
- Perform data analysis to compare options, compile and present recommendations to internal stakeholders, and drive alignment around the best option for the company
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into clear, comprehensive RFP documents
- Identify potential suppliers, perform vendor comparison research, manage communications, and maintain positive relationships
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the competitive bidding process, including timeline management, cost comparisons, optimized negotiations, risk, and contract reviews
- Manage reporting projects to identify cost optimization opportunities, drive purchasing process and strategy compliance, and track value achieved through contract negotiation and bidding processes
- Optimize contract management processes to support procurement strategies, including vendor consolidation and proactive project planning
- Administer contract lifecycle management processes and assist with maintenance and support of Procurement systems in EMEA, including Oracle iProcurement, Contract Repository, Contract Lifecycle Management, and RFP Management Tool

- Experience with large accounting/ERP software packages (Oracle strongly preferred)
- Experience in contract management
- Strong understanding of Procure to Pay processes
- Ability to lead, manage, and support procurement projects, understanding and translating business needs into requirements for execution
- Experience working effectively in complex global organizations, satisfying the needs of diverse stakeholders, and working with competing priorities
- Procurement experience or knowledge in categories including Marketing, Public Relations, and Retail is beneficial
- Fluent in English (verbal and written); capabilities in French, Italian, or German are a plus
