The Role
As the Inventory Associate Manager, you’ll manage Value Added Services (VAS) for EMEA, oversee sub-inventories, and support operational excellence across European Distribution Centres.
You’ll leverage data management, reporting, process, and governance to improve the accuracy, visibility, and efficiency of VAS, inventory adjustment processes, and operational workflows.
Working closely with Distribution Centres, Customer Service, IT, Finance, Sales, and third-party logistics providers, you’ll identify operational trends, drive process improvements, support system and reporting enhancements, and ensure operational data integrity across the supply chain network.
Your ability to influence, communicate, and manage at all levels internally and with third-party suppliers will be key.
Your Impact
- Lead day-to-day management, governance, and continuous improvement of Value-Added Services (VAS) across the EMEA distribution network
- Act as the primary operational contact for VAS onboarding, setup, maintenance, issue resolution, and customer-specific requirements
- Manage EMEA sub-inventory governance, including B-Grade, C-Grade, donation, recycling, destruction, and outlet inventory processes
- Develop strategies to reduce inventory adjustments and improve sub-inventory management processes
- Develop, maintain, and analyze operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs relating to VAS performance, inventory management, operational compliance, and financial impact
- Identify trends, risks, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities through data analysis and operational reviews
- Utilize root cause analysis and performance data to identify and implement sustainable operational improvements
- Ensure operational processes are documented, controlled, and consistently executed across all Distribution Centres
- Compile disposal approval documentation and submit requests to senior management
- Manage data on donation and destruction/recycling to global team
- Coordinate inventory adjustment requests and processing with IT teams
- Maintain governance and visibility of inventory sub-inventories across DC operations
- Support management of third-party and non-compliance operational invoicing activities
- Raise purchase orders and process invoice payment requests related to VAS and DC services
- Facilitate onboarding calls and meetings to align operational capabilities and customer expectations
- Investigate VAS operational issues and communicate corrective actions to Distribution Centres and stakeholders
- Support Customer Service and DC teams with VAS process guidance and clarification of roles and responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze operational reports related to VAS, inventory adjustments, inline sample returns, and sub-inventory management
- Produce and maintain VAS error rate reporting and monitor operational KPIs
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and operational governance activities to ensure reporting accuracy
- Support and manage inline sample return processes across Distribution Centres
- Monitor process compliance and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives related to inline sample returns
