Product Manager in Slough

Product Manager in Slough

Slough Full-Time No working from home possible
Decision Focus

Location

Birkerød, Denmark / London, UK (Hybrid)

Working Pattern

We work a hybrid schedule across our London and Denmark offices, 3 days in the office and 2 at home. The expectation is meaningful time with the team in person, so some travel between the two offices is part of the role from time to time. We’re flexible about how that looks in practice, but this isn’t a fully remote position.

About the Role

Decision Focus is at a good stage. We’ve been growing steadily, the product is maturing, and the work of scaling it across new regions, languages and regulatory frameworks is underway. The direction for where the product is going is set. What we need now is a Senior Product Manager to own everything downstream of that: how we plan against it, how we resource it, and how the team actually executes.

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to set the strategic agenda from scratch. It’s a role for someone who gets real energy from running a tight, high-performing team against a clear brief: turning direction into a workable plan, keeping the team properly resourced, and pushing back hard when priorities start to drift.

You’ll manage the product team day to day, work closely with sales, engineering and the exec team to keep everyone pointed the same way, and bring genuine product thinking, with AI fluency built in rather than bolted on, to how the team works.

What You’ll Be Getting Involved In

Planning & Execution

Once direction is agreed, it’s yours to turn into a plan. That means breaking the roadmap into workable phases, resourcing it properly, and tracking delivery closely enough to catch drift before it becomes a problem. Project management here isn’t paperwork. It’s the thing that keeps the whole team honest about what’s actually getting built and when.

Prioritisation & Pushback

Not every request that lands on the team deserves a yes. You’ll need the confidence to say no clearly, reprioritise when something more urgent comes in, and hold the line against scope creep, even when the person asking is senior to you. Judgement matters more here than consensus.

Stakeholder Management

You’ll work closely with sales, engineering and the exec team, translating between what’s commercially urgent, what’s technically feasible, and what’s actually planned. That means regular contact with all three, not the occasional update, so nobody’s surprised by what’s shipping or what’s slipping.

AI Fluency & Product Thinking

AI is part of how this team should work, not a side project. You’ll bring genuine product thinking to what we build and how we build it, and you should already be using AI tools in your own workflow rather than treating them as optional extras.

What We’re Looking For

Your Background

A proven track record in product management within a SaaS environment, with genuine project management skills: you know how to take a plan and actually deliver it, not just talk about it.

GRC or RegTech domain knowledge is a genuine advantage, but it isn’t a requirement. We’re looking for someone who’s energised by excellent execution and team leadership, rather than someone who wants to be the domain expert setting the agenda. A candidate who wants to help run a high-performing product team against a clear direction will thrive here.

How You Work

You’re confident enough to push back on a request from someone more senior than you, and clear-headed enough to reprioritise when the situation calls for it. You manage stakeholders across sales, engineering and the exec team without losing sight of what the team can realistically deliver.

You treat AI as part of your everyday toolkit, and you bring genuine curiosity to product problems rather than just following process.

The Basics

Fluent in English, written and spoken. Additional language skills, particularly Danish, would be a plus given our headquarters in Birkerød.

Comfortable presenting to stakeholders across the business, from engineering to the exec team.

What We Offer

  • A salary that reflects the seniority of the role and the experience you bring.
  • Pension contribution.
  • A team that cares about doing good work and is genuinely good to work with. Regular socials, a flat culture, and a business that’s growing in a direction that makes the role more interesting, not less.

A Bit More About Us

We’re a team of around 75 people with two hubs, in the UK and Denmark. We work hard, we’re proud of what we’ve built, and we genuinely enjoy working together. If that sounds like the kind of place you’d like to be, we’d love to hear from you.
