Decision Analysis Services Limited (DAS) is an independent professional services company that has supported more than 200 client organisations in the energy, defence, government, transport, and health sectors since 2007. With offices from Glasgow to Sydney, we help clients worldwide to bridge the gap between strategic planning and operational execution using programme management, systems thinking, investment modelling, machine learning, and data analysis.
DAS is looking to grow our talent team during an exciting period and is currently hiring a driven and highly experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with hiring managers to gain an in-depth understanding of their recruitment requirements.
- Write and post creative job adverts that attract the highest calibre talent.
- Source candidates through various channels, with a strong focus on proactively approaching and engaging with passive candidates (headhunting).
- Conduct in-depth telephone interviews with candidates to assess their suitability for a role.
- Ensure a bestāināclass experience for all candidates who engage with DAS, including prompt application and interview feedback.
- Keep on top of industryāspecific recruitment trends and identify effective and upātoādate methods to attract talent.
- Support ongoing project activity and deliver recruitment administration tasks.
- Extensive experience recruiting for specialist, hardātoāfill, or niche positions.
- Strong background working in an ināhouse recruitment role or externally within the defence sector.
- A thorough understanding of fullācycle recruitment.
- Experience recruiting in core capability areas such as Project Management, Project Controls, Systems Thinking, Operations Research, Data Science, and Business Change.
- Experience recruiting within critical infrastructure domains such as defence, energy/nuclear, water utilities, transport, central government, etc.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A personable and approachable demeanour.
- Experience developing Boolean and keyword searches.
- A selfāmotivated approach to work and effective timeāmanagement skills.
- The ability to build strong working relationships with the business and with candidates.
- Ā£38,000 ā Ā£45,000 depending on experience.
- Hybrid working position; successful candidates must be able to travel to our offices in Bristol or Basingstoke on a regular basis; travel to other offices may also be required.
