Rated is on a mission to keep the worlds machines aligned and accountable. Rated Labs, the developer behind Rated, was founded in 2022 by Elias Simos and Aris Koliopoulos. In the two years since founding we have built the Rated Explorer into a category defining and well loved product, among Node Operators in Web3. In reality, the work has only just begun!

The role

  • We are looking for an immediately available Senior Backend Engineer with experience in building distributed systems, data pipelines and APIs.
  • The role’s core activity center will be in building out a series of platform level components that will power the evolution of Rated’s product suite.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Experience with a Python web framework such as Flask, FastAPI or Django
  • Experience with Postgres and Elasticsearch
  • Experience with AWS
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, from code reviews to CI/CD
  • Bonus points for experience in building real-time data pipelines using Bytewax, Flink or similar

The person

  • Mission driven and intellectually curious
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
  • Thrives in early stage environments
  • Is based anywhere between CET-1 and CET+1
