You'll be responsible for maintaining and optimising our IT infrastructure, resolving ServiceDesk tickets, and ensuring seamless technical support for employees and partners across both sites. You'll work closely with our IT team in Ireland and report into a manager who's genuinely looking to develop people as the team grows.
What You'll Be Doing

- Maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, communication systems, endpoints) and ensure optimal performance.
- Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection and testing of network and server systems.
- Maintain and configure Information Security software, managing incidents alongside the Incident Management team.
- Manage equipment logistics, including incoming/outgoing shipments and asset register maintenance.
- Work with the accounts team to stock technical equipment and accessories as required.
- Identify process improvements to reduce recurring IT requests and enhance system efficiency.
- Assign and monitor tickets, ensuring appropriate prioritisation and escalation.
- Work with the IT Operations Specialist to rationalise costs and maintain cost-effectiveness across IT services.
- Build best practices and standards to enhance ServiceDesk excellence and user satisfaction.
- Support network upgrades and infrastructure changes — sometimes carried out over weekends to minimise downtime.
- User Support & Collaboration
- Provide end-user technical support (desk-side and remote) to employees, subcontractors and partners.
- Onboard and offboard staff members, ensuring proper setup and removal of access rights.
- Configure devices and train new staff members during onboarding.
- Offer advice, coaching and technical training to associates on effective use of IT resources.
- Liaise and collaborate with core teams to support overall business goals.
- Maintain excellent relationships with vendors and third-party service providers.
- Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and enforce IT policies and procedures in line with regulatory, quality and information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001).
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement across systems administration and support functions.
- Ensure all activities align with company policies, IT governance and security best practices.
What We're Looking For

- 3+ years of professional IT experience in systems administration or IT operations.
- Proven experience managing enterprise LAN/WAN networks and infrastructure.
- Skilled in administration of Office 365 and/or Google Workspace platforms.
- Experience with NAS storage systems, routers, firewalls and VPN configuration.

- Proficient in configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools, ticketing systems and performance reporting.
- Strong understanding of IT policies, SLA development and incident management processes.
- Experience managing Google Workspace Enterprise or equivalent systems is a distinct advantage.
- Interpersonal & Leadership Skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences.
- Proven organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Confident, collaborative and able to lead by example.
- Strong time management and prioritisation in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
- End-user focused with a commitment to excellent internal customer service.
