The role - an honest version

This role covers a lot of ground.

It involves full ownership & delivery of all People Ops processes from Hire to Retire, as well as being 1st line HR support across a range of HR areas.

It is genuinely fast paced and varied, occasionally chaotic, and requires someone who finds that energising rather than overwhelming.

We are not precious about job titles or lanes here.

If something needs doing and it sits near your world, you get stuck in.

That's our culture.

The role has breadth, fast pace, and real ownership.

However it also has ambiguity, shifting priorities, and days where you will need to figure things out as you go.

If you are energised rather than unsettled by it, you are probably exactly who we are looking for.

  • What Is In It For You
  • You own the full spectrum: From HR ops to generalist work, in a lean team where what you improve actually sticks.

You spot something that needs fixing, you fix it, and people notice.

No committee required.

  • Career enhancement: Builds genuine breadth, fast.

Working across People operations, ER, compliance, and culture in a scaling business will accelerate your development in ways a larger, more siloed organisation simply cannot match.

  • Your part of a mission that matters: Deciphex exists to help clinicians diagnose faster and get patients the answers they are waiting for.

The People function exists to make sure the people doing that work can do it at their best.

  • Reporting Lines
  • Reporting & working closely with our Ireland-based People Operations Director & our lean & effective people team.
  • Our People team is lean. This is not a specialism someone else owns. It is yours to own & drive.

  • Track data: Reasons people join/leave. Bring insights to People Ops Director.
  • People Operations, Systems & Documentation
  • Bamboo HR: accurate, audit‑ready, actually useful.
  • Click

Up: track employment changes and manage workflows across the People team.
