Insolvency Manager Remote (Stoke-on-Trent & Surrounding Areas) The Opportunity A well-established specialist insolvency and restructuring firm is looking to appoint an experienced Insolvency Manager to strengthen its growing corporate insolvency team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insolvency professional based in Stoke-on-Trent or the surrounding areas who is looking for the flexibility of remote working whilst remaining part of a collaborative and highly respected firm.
As the business continues to expand its presence across the Midlands and North West, this position offers genuine long-term career prospects, with the successful individual expected to play a key role in developing the firm's regional presence and progressing into a senior leadership position.
The Position You'll take responsibility for a portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments, managing cases through every stage of the process while delivering an exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
Working alongside experienced Insolvency Practitioners, you'll be trusted to manage your own workload, provide technical guidance to colleagues where required and ensure cases are progressed efficiently and compliantly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in delivering high-quality work and wants to be part of a business with ambitious growth plans.
Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations and Compulsory Liquidations.
Progress appointments from initial instruction through to case closure.
Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, lenders and other key stakeholders.
Review case documentation and ensure all statutory requirements are met.
Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the lifecycle of each appointment.
Support and mentor less experienced members of the team where appropriate.
Maintain high standards of compliance with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's presence across your region.
About You The successful candidate will possess: Previous experience operating as an Insolvency Manager within a UK insolvency practice.
Strong working knowledge of corporate insolvency procedures and legislation.
Confidence managing your own portfolio with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and commercial approach to problem solving.
The ambition to progress into a broader leadership role as the regional team grows.
CPI qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
