A well-established and growing insolvency practice in Newcastle is looking to hire an Insolvency Manager to take ownership of a mixed corporate portfolio and support senior stakeholders across a busy case load.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Administrator/Assistant Manager ready for the step up, or an existing Manager looking for a broader remit and clearer progression.
The Role
- Manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments and play a key role in driving case progression, mentoring juniors, and ensuring high-quality delivery to stakeholders.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of CVLs, MVLs and Administrations (and associated workstreams) from appointment through to closure.
- Overseeing investigations, asset realisations, trading cases (where relevant), and statutory compliance.
- Leading communications with directors, creditors, solicitors, agents and other stakeholders.
- Reviewing reports and ensuring deadlines, quality standards and regulatory obligations are met.
- Supporting workflow planning, delegating tasks and mentoring senior administrators / assistants.
- Assisting with onboarding new instructions and contributing to wider team performance.
About You
- Strong corporate insolvency experience (typically 4 years), ideally with exposure to CVL/MVL/Administrations.
- Previous experience operating at Senior Administrator / Assistant Manager / Manager level.
- Confident managing stakeholders and juggling priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of insolvency procedures, compliance and case management systems.
- CPI/JIEB is beneficial but not essential (support may be available depending on the firm).
