An established and highly regarded insolvency and restructuring practice is seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator to join its Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and professional team, managing a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments whilst working closely with experienced Insolvency Practitioners. The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with statutory requirements. Appointments will typically include:
- Administrations
- Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
- Members' Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)
- Compulsory Liquidations
- Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from inception through to closure.
- Preparing statutory reports, case documentation and correspondence.
- Liaising with directors, creditors, accountants, solicitors and other stakeholders.
- Conducting investigations into company affairs and director conduct.
- Managing asset realisations and progressing cases efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting Insolvency Practitioners with complex assignments where required.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Maintaining excellent client service throughout each engagement.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of four years' experience within corporate insolvency.
- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases with minimal supervision.
- A sound technical understanding of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and proactive approach to client service.
- CPI qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
