An established and highly regarded insolvency and restructuring practice is seeking an experienced Senior Insolvency Administrator to join its Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and professional team, managing a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency appointments whilst working closely with experienced Insolvency Practitioners. The successful candidate will enjoy genuine responsibility, exposure to complex assignments and a clear pathway for continued career progression.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with statutory requirements. Appointments will typically include:

  • Administrations
  • Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
  • Members' Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs)
  • Compulsory Liquidations
  • Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from inception through to closure.
  • Preparing statutory reports, case documentation and correspondence.
  • Liaising with directors, creditors, accountants, solicitors and other stakeholders.
  • Conducting investigations into company affairs and director conduct.
  • Managing asset realisations and progressing cases efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance with insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting Insolvency Practitioners with complex assignments where required.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Maintaining excellent client service throughout each engagement.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of four years' experience within corporate insolvency.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases with minimal supervision.
  • A sound technical understanding of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and proactive approach to client service.
  • CPI qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
