An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Marketing Manager to join Travel Retail West, to lead the Makeup cluster.
The position reports to the Regional Brand Director and is based in our London office, with a hybrid working model (4 days in-office).
This is a fully rounded strategic and operational marketing leadership role, responsible for implementing global brand strategy in the Travel Retail West region.
The role carries end-to-end accountability for regional marketing planning, execution, and performance, including ownership of the marketing budget and oversight of a dedicated team.
This role requires a strategic thinker who combines creativity with commercial acumen, demonstrates agility in a fast-paced environment, and brings a deep understanding of how to engage consumers in a travel retail context.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Strategy & Activation – Adapt and implement Global Brand Marketing strategies to drive brand equity and business growth across Travel Retail West (UK, Ireland, EMEA, and Americas).
- Global Brand Partnership – Collaborate closely with Global Brand Marketing teams to ensure consistent storytelling and cohesive campaign alignment across touchpoints.
- AI & Data-Led Insights – Leverage AI-driven tools, consumer analytics, and data dashboards to forecast newness, identify opportunities, and measure campaign performance.
- Agile Ways of Working – Foster an agile, collaborative, and test-and-learn mindset across the team to accelerate responsiveness and innovation.
- Retail Excellence – Collaborate with Field Sales teams to deliver impactful marketing programmes and exceptional in-store execution; conduct regular market visits to evaluate performance and present key business insights.
- Visual Merchandising & Store Design – Collaborate with store design and visual merchandising teams to deliver best-in-class retail environments that embody each brand’s DNA.
- Budget & Performance Management – Oversee regional marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of spend, accurate forecasting, and measurement of return on investment.
- Team Leadership – Inspire and develop a high-performing team, fostering continuous learning, empowerment, and accountability.
- Process Optimization– Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, communication, and ways of working.
- Market Analysis & Reporting – Gather, analyze, and present insights on brand performance, market dynamics, and consumer trends to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-oriented marketing professional with experience in prestige or luxury brand management, ideally within Travel Retail or other international commercial channels.
They will thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment, balancing creativity with disciplined execution.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with significant marketing experience.
- Demonstrable experience in leading regional marketing strategies and cross-market campaign implementation.
- Proven ability to manage P&L accountability and budgets effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, agile, and highly adaptable approach to working within complex global structures.
- Prior experience within Travel Retail or international markets strongly preferred.
- Experience within the prestige beauty or retail sector, particularly in makeup and cosmetics, would be an advantage.
- Additional European language(s) would be an advantage, in particular Spanish.
