- Product Claims, Messaging and Positioning: Leverage a strong understanding of the beauty, skincare and wellness industries, partnering with Scientific teams to develop product positioning, packaging copy, clinical efficacy claims and other product copy, securing the appropriate Regulatory and Legal approvals.
- Pricing and Cost Strategies: Partner with Supply Chain and Finance teams to approve target costs and final product pricing in line with portfolio and competitor benchmarks.
- Packaging Approval: Provide Product Marketing recommendations and feedback to the Packaging and Scientific teams.
- Global Brand Campaign Support: Support global campaign development as the Product Marketing lead, providing guidance on product positioning, claims and competitors where relevant.
- Timeline Management: Own Product Marketing tasks within the wider project timeline, collaborating with Product Development & Launch Managers to confirm deadlines, provide status updates, and proactively communicate priority shifts and risks.
- Product Sample Management: Manage the distribution and tracking of NPD product samples, ensuring timely availability for cross-functional teams in collaboration with Demand Planning, Production and Customer Experience as needed.
- Product Data Management: Own the collection and communication of product data, maintain up-to-date files, and act as a point of contact for data-related enquiries.
- Commercial Innovation across NIOD and The Ordinary
- Commercial Innovation: Support the development of Commercial Innovation strategies, including annual Holiday Sets lineups, regional feedback collection and reporting on previous sales performance.
- Transversal Portfolio Management: Lead ad-hoc approval and communication of new product claims and messaging for legacy NIOD and The Ordinary products; maintain key Product Marketing reference documents, including pricing spreadsheets, claims documents and process templates; support day-to-day and ad-hoc tasks; and analyse product performance metrics, including sales data, customer feedback and market share, to inform future product development and marketing decisions.
