The Marketing Executive supports the delivery and execution of best-in-class omnichannel marketing and trade activation strategies across the UK & Ireland. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Consumer Marketing Manager, this role brings regional and global brand plans to life at a local and retailer level, ensuring campaigns are executed with excellence, commercial impact, and strong brand consistency. This role is ideal for a highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive marketing professional looking to build a career across brand, retail and trade marketing within a fast-paced consumer environment.
WHAT THIS ROLE DOES:
- Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Support the development and execution of omnichannel marketing campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
- Assist in translating global and regional brand strategies into local market execution plans.
- Contribute to the planning and activation of high-impact retail moments, seasonal campaigns, and promotional calendars.
- Collaborate with digital, CRM, media, and creative teams to deliver fully integrated campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels.
- Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to support campaign optimisation and insight generation.
- Retail & Trade Marketing Activation
- Support the execution of trade marketing strategies across retail partners and third-party accounts.
- Translate regional brand plans into retailer-specific activation plans (including NPL/MPL frameworks).
- Coordinate retail calendars, launch timelines, and promotional activity across multiple retailers.
- Support delivery of in-store and online execution including VM, sampling, education, and retailer media.
- Assist in the development and rollout of Gift With Purchase (GWP) programmes and promotional mechanics.
- Ensure global campaign assets are adapted into retailer-ready formats in line with channel requirements.
- Content, Toolkits & Asset Management
- Develop and maintain retail toolkits, sell-in materials, and campaign assets tailored by retailer.
- Support localisation of global content for local and retailer use, ensuring brand consistency.
- Work with internal creative teams to deliver seasonal and campaign assets for retail activations, gifting, and launches.
- Assist in preparing retailer presentations, trade decks, and campaign sell-in materials.
- Events & Consumer Engagement
- Support delivery of consumer events including in-store activations, experiential pop-ups, and virtual events.
- Coordinate logistics, supplier management, and event execution in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Support communication planning across email, social, CRM, and digital channels for events and activations.
- Gather post-event feedback and performance insights to inform future activity.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report on campaign, retail, and promotional performance metrics.
- Support analysis of ROI, sell-through, engagement, and activation effectiveness.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and retail landscape analysis to inform optimisation opportunities.
- Maintain and update trade marketing and promotional calendars.
- Stakeholder & Project Support
- Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Retail, Digital, CRM, and Global Marketing to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage ad hoc retailer requests and support execution during key commercial moments.
- Support Senior/Marketing Manager and Trade Marketing Manager with administrative tasks, vendor coordination, and project timelines.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Experience in a marketing or trade marketing role, ideally within beauty, FMCG, luxury, or premium retail.
- Strong understanding of retail environments and omnichannel consumer journeys.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical capability with confidence interpreting data and turning insights into action.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills and strong Excel proficiency.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional and external stakeholders.
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work at pace in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinking with an understanding of retail storytelling and consumer engagement.
