About the Role
This 12‑month fixed‑term contract (maternity cover) seeks a seasoned Retail Leader with 5+ years of multi‑unit/area management experience, strong P&L ownership, and proven ability to lead retail teams across corporate and store environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of the Global Retail Strategy and regional FSS annual operating plan, ensuring alignment with global priorities and driving scalable growth.
- Drive FSS and counter expansion strategy in line with global expansion priorities, while leading B&M performance across 23+ staffed doors and top 50 unstaffed doors.
- Define and implement the regional Education Strategy aligned with business growth and retailer priorities, ensuring consistent execution of corporate initiatives.
- Own regional budgets (staffing, T&E) and field operations, including travel planning, store visits, coaching, issue resolution, and support for priority doors (training, stock, VM).
- Lead regional summits, store‑in‑store operations strategy, leadership market visits, and drive continuous operational improvement and cultural excellence.
- Collaborate with Senior Brand & Partnerships teams on brand voice, activations (pop‑ups, masterclasses, conferences) and support DTC initiatives to elevate the FSS experience.
- Partner with the Global Director and Senior Market Director to ensure alignment on regional, global initiatives, and market performance priorities.
- Liaise with Global Consumer Education to identify and close content and training gaps across the region.
- Work with Finance on P&L creation, forecasting, budget management, and capex requests; work with HR on recruitment, training, and employee relations (HRBP partnership).
- Lead and develop a high‑performing team, ensuring succession planning, performance delivery, and management of escalations.
- Own regional P&L, financial planning, forecasting, and delivery of sales and profitability targets.
- Monitor financial performance and implement actions to drive cost efficiency and improve business results.
- Oversee consumer education programmes across all retail channels and ensure alignment with global standards.
- Identify training gaps across stores, partnerships, pharmacy, and affiliates, ensuring corrective action in collaboration with Global Retail.
- Develop and present retailer business reviews, strategy materials, and performance updates.
- Manage retailer cost‑share agreements and payment processes, ensuring governance and compliance.
Interaction & Complexity
- Collaborate with Senior Brand & Partnerships teams on brand voice, activations (pop‑ups, masterclasses, conferences) and support DTC initiatives.
- Partner with the Global Director and Senior Market Director for alignment on regional and global initiatives.
- Liaise with Global Consumer Education to close content and training gaps.

Business & Technical Knowledge

- Identify training gaps and implement corrective actions with Global Retail.
- Develop and present retailer business reviews, strategy materials, and performance updates.
- Manage retailer cost‑share agreements and payment processes with governance and compliance.
Supervisory & Reporting Relationships
- Report directly to the Global Director of Retail & Consumer Education and liaise with the Senior Director Markets UK.
- Directly manage Area Sales Managers and the Education Manager for UK & Ireland.
- Oversee all retail employees across the UK & Ireland region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing both corporate retail teams and store-based teams across multi‑site environments.
- Strong experience in P&L management and ownership of financial and commercial performance.
- Proven experience managing retailer training programmes and capability‑building initiatives.
- Strong HR experience, including management of employee relations (ER) cases.
- Strong business acumen with proven ability to work with KPIs, manage priorities under pressure, and maintain detailed execution focus.
