Who We’re Looking For
We need a flexible, customer service‑oriented Sales Assistant known at Deciem as a Counter Associate to join our “extraOrdinary” team in the John Lewis store on Oxford Street. Experience in retail, department stores, luxury, fragrance, beauty, fashion or related sectors is highly desirable. This is a 15‑hour per week part‑time position (3 days).
What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
- Greet customers with enthusiasm and professionalism, reflecting Deciem’s vision through excellent service.
- Determine customer needs and suggest relevant products by listening and using product knowledge from brand training.
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health & safety are met.
- Adhere to the Deciem experience, deliver unparalleled customer service, and educate customers about beauty and skincare, Deciem brands, and products.
- Manage customer feedback and queries.
- Assist in maintaining counter cleanliness and organization.
- Help maintain Deciem’s merchandising concepts.
- Ensure tidiness standards are respected.
- Process product refunds and address customer issues positively.
- Build meaningful relationships with department managers and clients; communicate at a high standard.
