Senior Manager, Expansions Communications – Global

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a skilled Senior Manager, Expansions Communications – Global to create impact.
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- Develop and lead the planning and implementation of the Communications & PR strategy across DECIEM brands outside of The Ordinary: NIOD, Incubation.
- Oversee and manage a communications team, implementing strategy and processes to aid work output.
- Build and maintain the communications strategy for DECIEM activations (DNA story, heritage projects, etc.). Ensure that the DNA of the brand continues to be a story through media and influencers. Build and oversee the media matrix, seeding cadence, and comms calendar for new brands. Work alongside the brand team to meet deadlines and activational moments.
- Create noise globally with Creator partnerships (supported by the Global Community and Culture team).
- Manage a robust comms calendar that drives impact continually.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media sources, press, influencers, and content creators, both existing and new.
- Implement KPIs inclusive of EMV, engagements, MIV, and NPL specific targets.
- Implement and lead brand events from a macro level and partner with relevant advocacy and seeding providers to build a robust program that builds content momentum.
- Effectively represent the communications team in key retailer meetings & secure key spokespeople and business press to drive brand visibility and growth news.
- Be a key contributor to the shareability strategy as set by the Brand team, work alongside the global social media team to provide specific content to support growth and engagement KPIs & collaborate with the Communications Director on budgeting and manage cost allocation for projects to understand and lead cost-saving action plans for the team.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Affiliate marketing experience is considered beneficial.
- PR experience at a management level and experience managing a team.
- Experience managing multiple brands and projects.
- Strong understanding of the beauty industry and consumer sentiment with extensive branding knowledge as related to other industries such as fashion, lifestyle, etc.
- Strong media and creator relationships and experience orchestrating events.
