WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Human Leader – Assistant Store Manager to inspire our lovely team in Commercial Street <3>
As an Assistant Store Manage r, you will deliver the highest standards of customer service by following the DECIEM experience and contributing to the team members\’ performances and development, inspiring them to meet store targets and KPIs.
- This is a Full-Time role 37.5 hours per week.
- This is a permanent contract <3>
WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE
- In partnership with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will support in the oversight of daily in-store operations and provide assistance on the sales floor ensuring the store is profitable
- Control stock and manage the weekly order of store supplies
- Greet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism reflecting DECIEM’s vision through excellent service. Educate customers about the world of Beauty and Skin Care, DECIEM brands, and products
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, company information, launches, and campaigns
- Notify the Store Manager and/or Area Sales Manager of any customer complaints and comments (handle any in-person customer complaints)
- Chairs regular team meetings to update the employees on business performance, new initiatives, and other relevant topics. Celebrate Success!
- Responsible for monitoring and achieving the overall Store satisfaction and Team educational KPIs.
- Enforce store policies and procedures to be up to company standards and direction. Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
- Assist in hosting store events in conjunction with merchandising and corporate retail teams for customer appreciation events to drive traffic
- Maintain DECIEM’s visual merchandising standards according to the official merchandising guidelines (including displays, testers, cleanliness etc.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in customer service/retail is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Strong communication and leadership skills to coach and mentor employees to success
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
- Love of beauty products and a passion for skincare
