Position Summary
This role will be reporting into and working in collaboration with the Marketing Director, and will support the planning and execution of the Marketing Strategy in accordance with Global Brand guidelines to achieve Brand objectives.
This role requires a creative thinker who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing initiatives and achieve business objectives, while leading a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Marketing Strategy for all new product launches and brand campaigns, based off clear analysis and consumer/category/competitor insights
- Define and execute the brand’s distribution, promotional and pricing programs, partnering with Commercial & Trade Marketing Team as well as Global Marketing to cater to specific market needs
- Partnership with Global to define the annual innovation program covering product & conceptual innovations
- Collaborate with Online Trading, Communications, and Media team to execute the integrated media strategy (paid, earned, owned) to accelerate growth on digital channels.
- Work with the Sales team to translate brand/category strategy into effective distribution channels and ensure positive retail sales trends through marketing initiatives.
- Create and execute bespoke Retailer and Pure Play 360 Marketing plans aligned with commercial goals.
- Manage and mentor the Marketing Team to ensure growth, set priorities, and maintain consistent performance standards.
- Annual Marketing program to drive trial of new consumers: Creative, Media, Other trial driving activities (sampling/eventing/etc)
- In partnership with Consumer Insight & Analytics team, utilise consumer data insights, social media trends, and online behavior to inform innovative marketing strategies and create consumer learning plan to put consumer at the heart of all plans
- Ensure seamless integration between Global and local plans, adapting campaigns and content for local execution.
- Optimise the utilisation of global content and drive local creative execution as relevant.
- Manage marketing budgets to ensure efficient delivery across campaigns and activations.
- What This Role Does
- Define Marketing Strategy and objectives in accordance with global guidelines; develop local marketing calendars and oversee product launches.
- Prepare and present marketing objectives and plans to the wider team; lead communication and support tools for new product launches.
- Responsible for executing all marketing programs to meet the Brand's creative, financial, and strategic objectives.
- Ensure best-in-class paid and organic social, video, and email content aligns with omnichannel strategy.
- Pursue innovation and disruptive opportunities, including new partnerships and experiential activations.
- Collaborate with VM & Creative Operations to create impactful in-store visuals and merchandising for product launches.
- Leverage CRM insights to drive a data-first approach, integrating key business KPIs and consumer trends.
- BUDGET MANAGEMENT
- Assist the Brand Manager/Marketing Director in preparing brand budgets across the full marketing cluster, achieving profit and loss objectives
- Allocate marketing budgets effectively to align with retail targets.
- Review P&L with the Business Management Group to ensure alignment with established budgets and future budget formulation.
- COLLABORATION AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Manage and develop the Marketing Team by providing training and growth opportunities.
- Empower the team environment to collaborate with national accounts and retailers to implement marketing programs effectively.
- Liaise with the wider brand team and centers of excellence to foster an integrated approach to brand activations.
- What You Will Need To Be Successful In This Role
- Several years of experience in Marketing, brand, consumer, and product management.
- Strong brand building experience, ideally across different categories/types of consumers/brands
- Experience in leading and developing a team.
- Luxury, Beauty, or high-profile Retail brand experience is preferred.
- Proven success in developing marketing strategies and executing impactful campaigns.
- Clear knowledge of the consumer target, their emotional and functional needs and be able to articulate it across global and local stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data for brand decisions.
- Deep understanding of beauty consumer behavior and trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Ability to craft concise strategic briefs and provide clear feedback to creative teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent budget and project management skills, with proficiency in Excel and Power Point.
