About the role…. We are excited to be recruiting for a Bodyshop Estimator. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups. As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service, ensuring that customers' vehicles are fully and accurately assessed for repairs and damage to a high standard. You will be required to carry out admin duties and liaise with customers in a professional and timely manner.

An average day as a Bodyshop Estimator… You will work closely with the Bodyshop Manager and be responsible for estimating vehicles that require body repairs and paintwork to a high standard. You will ensure estimates are produced in accordance with Thatcham/Manufacture methods but also profitable to repair. You will liaise with the Bodyshop Technicians for supplementary orders/parts on vehicles that are in progress. You will obtain final authorisation for completed repairs; liaising with insurance companies to gain authorisation for invoicing. You will supply insurers with parts/sub contract details for audit when required. You will assist the Bodyshop Manager with duties involved in the running of the Bodyshop.
About you… You will have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You will have the ability to work well under pressure - It will be your calm ability that will help you overcome any challenge that is thrown your way. You will have experience in developing relationships with customers, third party companies (such as insurance companies) and your colleagues. You must be Audatex certified. You will ideally have ATA/VDA but it is not essential. You will ideally have Autoflow experience but it is not essential. You will have the drive and determination to maintain a productive profitable department and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results through other people. We want you to love what you do – The rest will come naturally.
