Position: Packing Operative – Late Shift 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract.
Shift: 14:00‑22:30 Mon‑Thurs, 12:00‑20:30 Fri (Week 1). Week 2: 14:00‑22:30 Mon‑Thurs (Friday off). The role operates on a 9‑day fortnight with every second Friday off.
Location: Skipton facility.
Responsibilities
- Package veterinary pharmaceutical products safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards.
- Follow GMP and SOP requirements and maintain equipment cleanliness and upkeep.
- Support the creation of a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and, once confident, help train new team members.
- Work closely with the Line Lead and Packing Specialists to raise issues promptly and support problem resolution.
- Actively spot hazards, suggest process improvements and support Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Demonstrate Dechra values and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.

- Experience in low‑to‑medium‑volume manufacturing.
- Good Health & Safety awareness.
- Effective time‑management skills.
- Strong initiative, consistency and a commitment to doing things correctly.
