Responsibilities
You will play a vital role in achieving planned production for the site on a daily basis. At the very start of the production process, you will dispense raw materials—both solid dose and liquid format—providing the rest of Manufacturing with the materials needed to produce products for veterinarians and pets. This involves following set recipes of work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring correct weight, volume and quality of raw materials. You will work with a team of six, including two senior staff members, and collaborate in pairs to prepare the dispensing bay, complete clean‑downs, weigh materials, and secure them in tamper‑proof cages. You will cross‑check colleagues' work, maintain a ‘Right First Time’ culture, and raise any concerns to the appropriate teams. Attention to detail, confidence in documentation and a proactive mindset are key.
Qualifications
Experience in pharmaceuticals or other heavily regulated industries is desirable. An appreciation for weighing out different materials, good organisation skills, and experience in a GMP environment are important. Comfort with wearing PPE—including overalls/suit, air hood and filtration pack—must be demonstrated. You should be able to work with batch documentation and be honest and open about mistakes, supporting a healthy and continuous‑improvement culture.
