The Opportunity
The Artwork Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the preparation, review, and release of artwork for Dechra\’s pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely delivery to manufacturing and packaging sites. This role works collaboratively across multiple functions, including Global Regulatory Affairs, Global Artwork and Design, Supply Chain, Marketing, Commercial, and Quality, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in artwork development. The position may also support the preparation of regulatory Summary of Product Characteristics (SPCs) and labelling texts as required.
Main Responsibilities
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Collaborate closely with members of the Global Artwork Team and wide Regulatory Affairs Teams to support coordinated artwork development and regulatory compliance.
- Obtain critical information such as item codes, artwork codes, and Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs) for packaging materials.
- Initiate and manage artwork requests in Dechra\’s artwork management system across all markets, supporting activities such as registrations, variations, and product launches in new markets.
- Oversee the review, approval, and sign-off process for new and revised artwork, ensuring alignment with internal and external requirements.
- Perform quality assurance (QA) checks on artwork files prior to release to requestors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely issuance of approved artwork to manufacturing sites in accordance with regulatory deadlines and production schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records and documentation in line with company procedures and regulatory standards.
- Apply knowledge of global packaging legislation, including requirements for batch/expiry date formatting, font sizes, and other production-related specifications
