Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide. Itâs a great time to join our modern Skipton facility, and further investment for the Skipton site means that weâre in an exciting period of positive change for the business.
Here at Dechra, our values are embedded within our culture and thrive within our family of almost 2000 colleagues globally. From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business.
Your Next Adventure
The QA Compliance Associate works within the Quality Assurance group to ensure site-wide compliance. Youâll build key relationships with other site functions, providing cGMP support to ensure compliance with standards and the delivery of site quality metrics.
So, what will you be doing?
You will be the person to ensure everything we do is compliant, checking that things have been done to the correct standard across the site. Day to day, youâll look at change controls and document what the change is. This could be new artwork, for example, on the packaging components like cartons or leaflets, and packing records, etc. Your team facilitates overseeing the change and making sure it can go ahead.
Youâll use various systems and processes to complete your dayâtoâday actions and senseâcheck everything has been logged correctly on our Oracle system.
What makes you awesome
If youâve worked within Pharmaceuticals before or other heavily regulated industries, then great! Equally, weâll still love to hear from you if youâre looking to gain more experience in this area. Youâll need to be well organised, manage a large workload, and effectively prioritise a range of tasks and actions within our secure cloudâbased enterprise content management platform, Veeva.
Experience with change control actions will stand you in good stead, but you donât need to be a subject matter expert in this area; more of an understanding of the âwhyâ behind the process. Youâll be assigned a department to support with Capas and Deviations via Veeva.
You wonât always be able to get hold of the right people or find the answers you need right away. Manufacturing sites are very busy and face multiple challenges daily. Because of this, youâll need to adopt a proactive approach to the working day and build relationships quickly across crossâfunctional teams. Youâll actively contribute towards PQR Product Quality Reviews with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Quality Control involved, managing the PQR system and your actions as well.
Why youâll love it here
We provide veterinary professionals with the tools to support the welfare of animals worldwide. A true career with real purpose, thatâs something you can proudly shout about.
We also care deeply about you, youâll have full access to our Employee Assistance programme (EAP) which ensures you have confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support 24/7 365. This ensures that you are wellâequipped to deal with lifeâs many challenges. In addition to this, we also offer:
- Healthcare Cash plan (covers the cost of dental, prescriptions, therapies)
- Headspace App (positive mental wellbeing app, up to 5 users per account)
- Discounted Gym Membership
- Cycle to work scheme
- Discount on pet food
