At Dechra, we're passionate about supporting animal health across the globe. As a specialist veterinary pharmaceutical company, we develop, manufacture and supply high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians, helping improve the lives of animals worldwide. We're now looking for a Dispensary Supervisor to join our manufacturing site in Skipton and take ownership of a critical operation at the heart of our manufacturing process.

A role with real impact

As Dispensary Supervisor, you'll lead a dedicated team responsible for ensuring raw materials and packaging components move efficiently through the site. You'll be the person who keeps operations organised, inventory accurate and standards exceptionally high. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll work closely with colleagues across manufacturing and supply chain functions, helping to keep products moving safely, efficiently and in compliance with GMP requirements. You’ll be comfortable managing processes, maintaining inventory control and promoting a strong safety culture. Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who can communicate confidently with colleagues at all levels, solve problems proactively and bring people together to achieve shared goals. Experience within a GMP environment is essential, while a forklift truck licence, Oracle system experience and knowledge of warehouse operations would be advantageous. Managing your time effectively will be key to ensuring you can deliver all aspects of the role.

GMP-related responsibilities

  • On Time in Full delivery to manufacturing and packing
  • Inventory accuracy
  • Budget & financial objectives
  • Hazard reporting
  • Departmental goal of zero overdue CAPA's, deviations and change controls
  • Paperwork right first time with zero errors

Why you'll love it here

This is a career with real purpose - one you can genuinely feel proud of. We work a 9-day fortnight at our Skipton site, which means every second Friday is yours to enjoy. Longer weekends, more time with family and friends, and a healthier work-life balance. We also care deeply about the wellbeing of our people. You'll have full access to our Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential emotional, physical, and financial support 24/7, 365 days a year. On top of that, you'll also have access to the below:

  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Headspace wellbeing app
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Pet food discounts
  • Free fruit Mondays
  • Free onsite parking (including electric charging)
  • 22 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and the option to buy an extra week of holiday each year
