About Inflection Club
Inflection Club is a private co‑investment community for accredited investors, operators, and family offices that provides curated access to pre‑IPO deals from early to late‑stage opportunities.
What You Will Do
The Director of Community & Operations owns the operating system that makes Inflection Club feel like a private club rather than a platform. You build and run everything a member sees, touches, or experiences – from application to onboarding, roundtables, events, and renewals. Your counterpart is the Director of Investments who owns the deal pipeline; together you form the founding leadership team beneath the Managing Partners.
- Member Onboarding & Activation: Design and execute the onboarding flow for every new member – from payment to round‑table assignment. Target: activate ≥90 % of new members within 14 days. Build the welcome sequence, orientation materials, and first‑touch experience.
- Sales Pipeline & Revenue Operations: Own the full sales pipeline from lead to close, managing the closer and ensuring conversion targets are hit. Build and maintain the CRM (HubSpot) pipeline, proper stage definitions, automation, and reporting. Track and report on DM‑sourced versus outside‑DM pipeline separately.
- Community Experience & Engagement: Own the member experience layer – community, content calendar, member communications, feedback loops. Monitor engagement metrics and proactively address churn signals. Build systems that scale community without scaling headcount proportionally.
- Events & Live Experiences: Plan and execute two major live events in Year 1: November 2026 and April 2027. Each event targets 30 new member conversions. Own all logistics, speaker coordination, venue, production, and follow‑up.
- Communications & Marketing Ops: Own all member‑facing communications – newsletters, deal alerts, community updates. Coordinate with marketing on external positioning and lead generation (M4 $30 K/mo budget). Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- CRM, Tech Stack & Infrastructure: Own technology layer – CRM configuration, automation, member portal, reporting dashboards. Select and implement tools; build the ops playbook for scale.
- P&L Accountability: Shared ownership with Director of Investments of overall member growth targets (directly tied to compensation). Direct ownership of retention, onboarding quality, and NPS.
- Team Management: Direct reports include the closer and CSM (VC associate coordinates with Director of Investments). Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and performance management of the operational team.
Requirements
- Experience building revenue operations and commercial systems at organizations of 200+ people, with proven track‑record.
- CRM and sales pipeline architect – HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent, with configuration, automation, and reporting experience.
- Experience building or scaling a high‑touch community, membership product, or mastermind; knows the distinction between a Slack channel and a club.
- Ability to produce live events for sophisticated audiences – venue, food, conversation, and follow‑up reflect the brand.
- Proven team‑management and playbook writing skills – no bottleneck mindset.
- Data‑driven mindset – set KPIs, review them, and act when numbers indicate issues.
- Fast‑moving execution without sloppiness; a founding‑team environment rewards both.
Benefits
Build a category‑defining company from the ground up with your vision at the center. Leverage a built‑in distribution channel of thousands of engaged, high‑trust members from Day 1. Competitive base salary, performance bonus tied to growth, and equity/carry package that gives a direct stake in the club’s success.
