Decathlon Wednesbury is seeking an agile and customer-focused individual to join our operations as a Driving & Parcel Sortation Teammate. In this role, you will be the final link in our state-of-the-art omnichannel value chain, connecting our warehouse and local hubs directly to our sporting community. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Efficient Multi-Drop Operations: Execute multi-drop-off and pick-up tasks confidently across 4 key regional locations, managing time effectively to ensure we hit our strict delivery time windows.
  • Accurate Parcel Sorting: Conduct product pre-sorting to organize parcels precisely into their correct location paths before setting out.
  • Proactive Customer Interaction: Maintain professional and clear communication by actively contacting customers as soon as you arrive at their location to coordinate standard drop-offs.
  • Five-Star Customer Service: Deliver world-class, human-centric customer service at every hand-over to secure customer satisfaction and support our "Satisfied or Satisfied" service promise.

THE PROFILE WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Customer-Centric Focus: A positive mental attitude paired with a naturally developed sense of customer care and handover etiquette.
  • Agile & Autonomous: Highly responsible, practical, and adaptable when stepping out of a comfort zone to navigate regional delivery pathways.
  • Previous multi-drop delivery or warehouse sortation experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • A valid and clean UK Driving License.
  • Strong physical practicality to handle and manage multi-destination parcel distributions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and phone communication skills for on-site client interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage sorted inventory loads accurately.
