About The Role
We're looking for a driven, high-energy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our expanding Go-To-Market team in EMEA. As an SDR, you'll play an essential role in growing our customer base by identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities for our industry-leading AI platform. This isn't high-volume, transactional prospecting. Our SDRs operate in complex, multi-threaded Enterprise and Strategic sales cycles, engaging multiple stakeholders across technical teams, operators, and executive leadership. You'll learn how to navigate sophisticated buying groups, run thoughtful account-based outreach, and translate AI-driven capabilities into clear business outcomes. This role is ideal for someone looking to accelerate a career in sales, build deep prospecting fundamentals, and develop into a world-class seller in a fast-moving GenAI company.
In this role, you will:
- Source new sales opportunities through a combination of inbound qualification and strategic outbound prospecting
- Execute thoughtful, multi-threaded outreach across phone, email, and social channels
- Grow the top of the sales funnel through targeted account-based campaigns
- Research companies, map buying committees, and identify both hands-on-keyboard practitioners and executive stakeholders
- Partner closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and generate high-quality Enterprise pipeline
- Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and campaign strategy
- Stay up-to-date on product capabilities, competitive positioning, and GenAI market trends
- Develop critical sales skills including discovery, cold calling, objection handling, articulating business value, stakeholder mapping, prioritisation, and time management
You may be a good fit if you:
- Have a high level of interest in growing your career in a customer-facing role
- Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Are genuinely curious about understanding customers' business challenges
- Are dedicated to tracking and improving performance and efficiency on a daily basis
- Exhibit a sense of entrepreneurship: a self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes
Even better if you:
- Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing or quota-carrying role
- Have prior CRM experience (preferably Salesforce)
- Find ways to stay up on the latest trends in AI
- Have experience with tech
- Are fluent in French, German, or Spanish (in addition to English)
Location & working model
This role is based in our King's Cross, London office. Decagon is an in-office company, and this position is designed for SDRs who value being closely embedded with their team, learning through real-time coaching, and collaborating in person as we build and scale together.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus commission structure
- Medical, dental, and vision benefits
- Take what you need vacation policy
- Daily lunches, dinners and snacks in the office to keep you at your best
