DEBUTE is a London based womenswear brand founded by sisters Jazzy De Lisser and Lola Bute. Launched in October 2024, we are now entering an exciting growth phase and are seeking a creative, entrepreneurial Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to help shape and scale our brand. Someone who thrives in a startup environment, wants real responsibility from day one, and is motivated to help shape the future of DEBUTE.
This is a unique opportunity to join a small, ambitious team. You will take on a broad range of responsibilities across brand, social, influencer, and growth. It is a dynamic role with genuine scope to grow as the brand expands.
Key Responsibilities- Communication and Brand Strategy
- Lead the development of creative, data driven marketing strategies across press, digital, influencer, and celebrity channels
- Build brand awareness and help define DEBUTE’s long term positioning
- Collaborate closely with founders on brand storytelling, campaign vision, and creative direction
- Explore partnerships and collaborations with cultural voices, artists, and designers to amplify brand relevance
- Social Media and Digital Marketing
- Own content strategies and storytelling for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest from planning through to execution
- Oversee scheduling and publishing of content to ensure consistent cadence and quality
- Partner with the media agency on paid social campaigns (Meta, Google Ads) and ensure effective targeting and ROI
- Community and Influencer Engagement
- Help position DEBUTE as a community first brand by engaging directly with customers and cultural voices
- Build authentic influencer and PR programs including gifting, seasonal campaigns, and brand activations
- Support immersive brand experiences such as pop-ups, events, and cultural activations that bring DEBUTE to life
- Brand Voice and Content
- Write and edit compelling content across all touchpoints including social captions, email campaigns, product copy, and press notes
- Maintain DEBUTE’s brand tone of voice, bringing the brand to life across digital and offline channels
- Contribute to campaign production and creative direction, ensuring cohesive and impactful brand storytelling
- Analytics and Budgeting
- Set and track KPIs across marketing channels, using data and AI driven analytics tools to refine performance
- Oversee and manage marketing budgets
- Report monthly on campaign effectiveness and consumer engagement
- Strategy and Leadership
- Work closely with the founders and COO to define DEBUTE’s strategy + budget review(s), ensuring alignment between brand awareness and commercial performance
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, ideally within fashion, luxury, or DTC brands. Startup experience is highly valuable
- Data driven professional, able to recommend a holistic strategy while also willing to roll up your sleeves and execute
- A natural storyteller with a strong eye for content, trends, and cultural moments
- Experienced with paid media and Google Analytics
- Passionate about social media, community building, and visual communication
- Confident managing agencies and external partners
- Experienced with managing a small, junior team
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to experiment with new tools and approaches
- A global outlook and curiosity about international fashion and culture
- Excited by the idea of building a brand from the ground up in a small but supportive team
- Being agile and comfortable with change are essential requirements
