About the Role

Undergraduate placement building digital dashboards, lightweight web tools and prototypes to support decision-making at real power plants. Work hands‑on with operational data (cleaning, transforming, visualising) and collaborate with engineers to deliver fast, AI‑enabled solutions using tools like Microsoft Power Platform / Power BI and HTML.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build digital dashboards and tools that support decision‑making across power plants and energy assets.
  • Work hands‑on with operational data: connect, clean and transform data from multiple systems.
  • Develop lightweight applications, prototypes and web‑based tools to solve business problems quickly.
  • Collaborate with engineers and site teams to translate operational challenges into practical digital solutions.
  • Improve processes by increasing transparency, reducing manual effort and enabling performance tracking.
  • Take ownership of tasks and move ideas from concept to working solutions in short iteration cycles.
